About the Author

Born in Herbert, SK, Gerald Hill has lived in Papua New Guinea, Calgary, Rocky Mountain House, and Edmonton. He completed an B.Ed from the University of Calgary, a diploma in Creative Writing at David Thompson University Centre in Nelson, BC, and an MA in English at the University of Alberta. He teaches English at Luther College at the University of Regina. Published widely in literary journals and anthologies, Gerald Hill has published four previous poetry collections: Heartwood, The Man from Saskatchewan, Getting to Know You, which won the Saskatchewan Poetry Award in 2004, and My Human Comedy.
