About the Author

Alana Sheeren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Simon Fraser University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Community Psychology from Antioch University. She combines her experience as a former dancer, actor, and certified Pilates instructor with her deep understanding of the human condition to support her coaching clients' bodies, minds, and spirits. After the stillbirth of her son, Alana hosted a year of weekly conversations about grief and transformation on her website, which led to hosting the Create Your Magical Life podcast. Her TEDx talk on grief has been viewed over 30,000 times. She lives by the beach in Southern California with her husband, daughter, and rescue dog, Turtle.
