But money and good looks don't alleviate Nash's crippling guilt from a years-old mistake. As punishment, he hires escorts to sexually entice him while refusing to touch them. Enter Eden Huckabee, a newspaper reporter struggling to hang on to her job. Nash's vaunted self-control deserts him when she admits her sexual inexperience. Eden knows exposing Nash's secret could cement her career, but as Nash brings all her erotic fantasies to life, she struggles to write the article. Nash is a typical tormented hero, but beyond his need for kinky penance, he's just a regular, sweet guy, and it's obvious why Eden falls for him. Eden's constant mantra of "I never quit" sounds petulant, but she manages to be likable because of her generous nature.
