Rhonda Cable is a former elementary educator with a love for all things Appalachian. She lives in southeastern Ohio with her two children and her broom making husband.

Jackie Duffy is a retired teacher with roots deep in the Wayne National Forest of Southeastern Ohio. She now lives God's good life on the West Coast of California as a "Grandmother extraordinaire" to Andrew and with Jim, her best friend and biggest fan.
