About the Author

Zelma McKinney was born in the small town of Pelham, Georgia as one of eight children. She was raised by her grandparents from the age of 3. Her grandmother is the only person she knows who lived the life she found within the Christian Gospels. As such, she taught her to love and respect the scriptures of the bible. She now knows this love was critical to building the foundation needed to receive the appearances and teachings of “I AM” as her LORD.
She graduated from college at Florida A&M University in Tallassee, Florida, and received a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Pathology. She also became certified in reading and Learning Disabilities. After teaching for a few years, she obtained a master’s degree in Mental Retardation from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
She worked as an educator for 10 years in the state of Florida, before changing careers. Thereafter, she began a 30+ year career in Insurance Claims adjustment and Quality Control. During her years in Insurance Claims, she concentrated mostly on medical malpractice, corporate liability and errors and omissions. The LORD used her mightily in this area to correct many injustices aimed at the insured policy holders!
Spiritually, God has given her three offices in which to operate: Minister, Teacher, and Messenger. As a Minister and Teacher, she is allowed more latitude in her tolerance of others and their positions regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, such tolerance does not change what God has ordained her to teach. She must teach and minister what He has given her.
As a Messenger of the LORD, she has no control over what she speaks. She speaks what her Father instructs at the time He instructs! This often leads others to misunderstand her or to question her motives. She is often accused of being in rebellion against authority for speaking God's truths. She always prays that others can receive her words and take them back to God for a deeper understanding.
