About the Author

Vincent E. Timmons, a dedicated firefighter, served with the New York City Fire Department from 1994 to 2014. His career was profoundly impacted by the tragic events of September 11, 2001, where he lost 343 fellow firefighters, including ten from his own Manhattan fire station and his close friend Rob Parro of Levittown, NY. Moved by these losses, Vincent retired from active duty to honor their memory and dedicate himself to their legacy. Inspired by a poem penned by his father in 1957, Vincent transformed it into a heartwarming children’s book titled A Firefighter's Christmas.
