For the last decade, Auntie Shanny has worked in film and television as a Production Designer, Art Director, and SPFX Scenic Artist. Her creativity has influenced films such as Avengers: Infinity War (Part 1 & 2), Geostorm, Terminator Genisys, and most recently Obi-Wan Kenobi.

A writer at heart, Auntie Shanny saw her commitment to providing space for laughter, affection, love, and adventure flourish as she began experimenting with poetry. It is through a sustained commitment to the craft and inspiration from the creative world in which she works that Auntie Shanny composed her debut children’s poetry collection, A Flower in the Attic.
