Overview

This is volume III of blank verse poetry written from 2016 to 2017 entitles "A Long Way from Home". The title represents many layers...a long way from home as in seperation from heaven and God, seperation from the metaphysical, from our own soul and spiritual nature, also seperation from where I grew up which was Italy so I have been in exhile since 1972, there are poems about alienation and loneliness in the modern hi tech world, poems about the beauty of nature, about the human condition, about love and the difficulty of finding lasting love, about death and the death of friends, about emotions, about politics, about travel, about Iran. About the past and medievil times, about horses, about friends and childhood memories and farway places. About a life in exhile, about expatriotism, about war, about revolution, about relocation and immigration....Volume I is called "A Thousand Years at the Bottom of a Well" and volume II is called "Another Thousand Years."
