Overview

After his adultery destroys his last relationship, Charlie reunites with Sylvia to try to build a family to stabilize Charlotte's life. An ill fated move to Mexico results in a dramatic encounter with Charlie's blackmailer. The stress of returning to the underground life of a fugitive damages Charlie's health, resulting in financial distress. Desperate to help Sylvia keep the girls fed, Charlie risks working a second job in the presence of a tempting young woman.

About the Author

Daniel Goldsmith was born in 1971, and lived in Yucca Valley until 1989. The desolate wasteland of sunrises and sets inspired his early poetry, and the lush forest of redwoods flanking the Pacific Ocean at UC Santa Cruz polished them. Today he lives in Rockville Maryland, writing Midnight Never Ending and substitute teaching.
