A sought-after restorer and customizer of exotic and collectible cars, Ty had enough confidence to command what he wanted in life, until one fateful night changed everything. Almost two years later, he's slowly rebuilding his life with great control. He's defied the odds and works tirelessly to be the man he once was-but he still feels broken.
Cole's candor and unfiltered personality awaken Ty's barely-remembered desire to greet each new day with a smile, while Ty's unwavering acceptance of Cole's quirks and brash humor makes Cole feel as if he fits in for the first time in far too long. When a nemesis threatens Ty's personal restoration and the things he holds dear, Cole is determined to protect their relationship, even if that means sacrificing everything he's worked so hard to achieve.
But Ty will have to let his guard down, surrender control, and admit he needs Cole first, even if that puts himself at risk of breaking beyond repair.

I loved, loved, loved this story. Cole is such a wonderful and lovable character. He and Ty were so good as a couple. This is the is 3rd story in the Halfway House series. Recommend to read in order. All 3 are excellent and I cannot wait for Aiden and Jessie's story.
FiveStars Each book in this series keeps getting better. I love that these books have such a good story that draws you into the book. I get so hooked into the characters in this series and can't wait to find out what they will get involved in. The main characters in this book were Ty and Cole. I loved Cole with his unfiltered mouth and his just letting it all out without thinking. He was a very strong character that worked so hard at getting Ty out of his shell. I thought Ty was very quiet and kept to himself, until he met Cole. This book had laughter, action and very romantic love story. A perfect book that kept me totally hooked until the end. I can't wait until the next one comes out. I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads. Sherry FiveStars Rating: 5 Intense Stars!! I was very excited when I found out Cole's story was coming!! I have read the two previous stories in this series, and I highly recommend reading them first. (A Better Man, A Haunted Man) Stories like the one's Jaime Reese writes are the reason why M/M genre is my favourite to read. I love when you get Hero's that are intense, passionate, vulnerable, and sexyyyy! This author pulls you in, without you even realising it, and you are laughing, crying and falling in love right along with them. Cole...oh boy, has he got a mouth on him and I loved every wise-crack, heart-felt, dirty word that came out of him. Cole is the newest member of the Halfway House run by Julian and Matt, and they are still as much fun! Ty, sigh "MyTy", was my favourite out of all the crazy nic names Cole came up with. Ty is traumatized and scarred by a horrific accident in his very recent past, and Cole is not what he expected but did he ever shake up Ty's world and it was perfect!!! They are incredible, amazing and so good together. And if you are a fan of Jaime Reese then you know there is a villain, and the delivery, execution, take down of said villain is truly brilliant. Every scene actually in this story feels very realistic. Jaime Reese is an incredible author and the journey's she takes you on are very heart-felt and sexy and definitely worth your time. I was lucky enough to review the first two books for the blog so I was very excited to read and review this third book in an awesome series. Each book gives the reader a story of regret, redemption, and love. Each book also gets better and better. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Matt and Julian from book 1 and Hunter and Cam from book 2. I was excited that they appear or are at least mentioned in this book, it adds to the fluidity of the story. I think as the series goes on, I am just getting more involved in the world the author has created and love it all the more. In this book we meet Cole, who is staying at the halfway house run by Matt and Julian. He is a walking contradiction. He is sweet and kind, but his mouth sort of runs ahead of him, unintentionally offending others. He loves his family and has a close relationship with them, but he steals cars for a living. There should have been no reason for Cole to get into that shady business. He had a good home life, and was smart, but he compared himself to his brothers and sister and felt lacking. It could have all gone a different way if he used his automobile knowledge for a better purpose. Ty is an injured man. He hires Cole as a favor to his brother, and his life changes. He went from quiet detachment to laughing and interacting with his employees. Cole has a gift with Ty as much as he does with working with cars. Both men suffer from survivor’s guilt due to things that happened in the past, but when they are together they seem to heal a little of that in each other. The secondary characters are awesome in this story. Of course, Julian and Matt. We get to see another facet of Julian in this story, one that makes me sort of hopeful for his and Matt’s future. Aidan, Ty’s brother, is very gruff and hard on Cole at first, but we get to see him change his harshness at some points too. Cole’s large family lends some levity to the story and it’s awesome to see the love between the family members. Last but not least, the only reason I’m glad Cole stole cars were his old crew who came through to help him and Ty out of a rough spot. All former car thieves, but their support and compassion was something I really felt added to the story as well. Cole’s constant positive attitude and upbeat personality make him my favorite character of the series so far, and Ty’s metamorphosis was so positive, I have to up my rating for this book.
A Restored Man (The Men of Halfway House) Book 3 by Jaime Reese!!! Cole's main goal is to stay out of trouble for his stay at the half way house. Then he meets Ty who has Cole completely interested in him and in everyway possible. Ty has everything he ever wanted and everyone envied his life until one night that would change his life forever. Two years later Ty is rebuilding his shattered life and he is working very hard to get the life he once had. Cole's extremely outgoing personality reminds Ty to look at the beauty of life and enjoy each day. He is starting to feel for the first time in a very long time that he has a very good fit here. When someone threatens everything that Ty has worked so hard to rebuild, Cole will do anything to protect their relationship even if it threatens his own growth. This OMG is the best book in the series and I have heard that a lot lately. The amazing and beautiful connection that these characters have was so amazing to read and so addicting as I could read forever about Cole and Ty. I can't say enough good things about how the author created and developed these characters as it was so brilliantly done. To the point that she brought them alive from the pages and I was so invested in this beautifully written story. Jaime developed their story in such away that I couldn't get them out of my head once I was done and that everyone, this is the result of a great author. Now the SEX.....Jaime is one of the best gay sex writers as she just doesn't throw it on the page but she writes the sex scenes in such an authentic way that I am like this author has to be a gay man. Her research into the world of great gay sex is so spot on and she completely gets it. I love the romance between Cole and Ty and how Jaime builds up the sexual tension and romance between these men. She has a great flow of hot gay sex and beautiful romance writing that is not found in every MM novel. The author will have you glued to every word and every page for the entire book and then wanting more and more. Jaime Reese had me as a huge fan ever since A Better Man and I highly recommend this novel and series to everyone who loves a beautifully written MM novel.
