In Roger Riccard's captivating A Sherlock Holmes Alphabet of Cases Volume 4 (P-T), Holmes applies his ingenuity to solve some of the most puzzling cases. The collection comprises five cases. In the first, The Piccadilly Poisoner, one of Dr. Watson's patients shows signs of poisoning. Who could be behind the cruel crime? In the second, The Dead Quiet Library, two people are found dead in a quiet, eerie library that is said to be haunted by a ghost. In The Raspberry Tart, the third case, a banker is sceptical about his son's fiancée and wants an investigation that proves to his son he is about to make a dire mistake. In The Student Olympian, the fourth of Holmes's cases, a star rider suddenly withdraws from participating in the 1908 Olympics. While in the fifth, Death on the Thames, a body is found on the Royal Riverboat.
