When a little old lady can't stand her tiny house any longer, a wise old man gives her some strange advice... And soon her house is feeling smaller than ever, with a hen, a goat, a pig, and even a cow trampling all over her kitchen! But the wise old man has one piece of advice still to give and may yet be able to solve the little old lady's problems.

I LIKE THIS BOOK BECAUSE ALL THE ANIMALS JUMP IN THE HOUSE AND THEN THE HEN LAYS AN EGG IN THE HOUSE. THE HEN BREAKS AN ORNAMENT WHICH IS FUNNY. BY JOSH
Some of the synonyms in this are sort of peeves of mine (I don't believe in "pet" peeves per se, but come on, "weeny" for small?), and it has that thing where the old woman is complaining and the (wise) old man fixes everything, but it's still a nice little story, and the pictures of the animals interacting are funny (look for the goat watching the pig ransack the larder), and smart chilluns should be able to figure out the wise old man's clever plan before the big reveal and feel all good about theyselves.
