BIOGRAPHICAL MATERIAL
For most of my life I've worked 50-70+ hrs/Week.
I was formerly founder and president of Aerospace Associates Inc.(AAI) of Colorado Springs CO. (Dec. 1976-Jan 1999) In the Defense Industry, I have held many positions, notably; employed as a Radar Systems Engineer, a Senior Software Engineer, a Radar Site Analyst, and as an Aerospace Scientist. In this industry through AAI, I've been an industry consultant for 20 years.
I've helped design and install some of our largest Missile warning radar systems, BMEWS and PAVE PAWS; developed Requirements Analysis Specifications including mathematical specifications for several space projects (DSP and MCCC). I've has taught courses and tutored students in the areas of algebra, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, vector analysis, theory of equations, Orbital Mechanics, and Radar systems.
His list of Aerospace and other scientific publications include more than 250 documents (some of book or larger sizes) generated for many employers in the defense industry. One of these written in 1962 is a book that derives the equations for orbital mechanics as applied to satellites and ballistic missiles for single site radar stations. Another for the AFSCN, was a mathematical Specification For the Calibration of the Defense Satellite Project's (DSP) 16 Ground Stations Worldwide. These are available upon request from the author.
A Work History Of Norman E. Carlson
For almost all of his (my) secular career, Mr. Carlson held a Secret Clearance. For a short portion of that time in the latter 60's his clearance was updated to a T.S. level. As Founder and President of Aerospace Associates Inc., Mr. Carlson became its FSO. Now, being "retired", he has not held a clearance for the past 11 years.
Since retiring from secular employment he has lived at Anderson AK, where he was pastor of the North Star Baptist Church; Salem OR, where he taught at the Oregon Theological Seminary; and in Colorado Springs, CO where he established The Colorado Free Bible College. He has written, or edited, and published 24 books available for free download from our website 'thecfbc.com'. This task was completed from 2011-2016.
