About the Author

Dr. Linda O’Boyle Zaneski is a certified Gerontological nurse with her doctorate in nursing. She has been a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association for over 35 years. A three time walk chairperson, Linda has helped raise over $300,000 in walk day revenue and has been a multi-year Grand Champion for personal fundraising. Because of her personal and professional connection to the disease, Linda works tirelessly in the fight against Alzheimer’s so that one day soon, we can all celebrate our first Alzheimer’s survivor.

Linda has created the A4 Project- Alzheimer’s Awareness Across America- with the goal of promoting advocacy, outreach and fundraising. As Miss Pennsylvania 1991 and again as Mrs. Pennsylvania International 2022, Linda used her state pageant titles to enhance the impact of her fight against Alzheimer’s and continues to make a significant difference with awareness, care, support, and research for Alzheimer’s Disease. Linda is a National Program Manager for the Veterans Health Administration and an Adjunct Professor at Wilkes University. She resides in Northeast Pennsylvania with her husband Stan and their children Rebecca and Stanley.
