A tale of witches and werecats. After being rejected and betrayed by the only woman he's ever loved, Matt swears off dating completely. He'd rather die alone than have his heart crushed like that again. But the obnoxiously perky redhead that the temp agency sent over will not take no for an answer.

How she packed everything happening into 50 pages is beyond my comprehension. I especially enjoyed the shifting/wercat part as I am also a witch, though I don't practice my spells like I should. The "fine line between love and hate" with the switch from hostility to raw passion and back again and again and again was quite entertaining. Kept me glued to the pages. I was disappointed that the story was so short though. I wanted so much more. This was my first book by this author. Guess I'll have to go back and read them from the beginning.

This book was awesome. I love romance novels and this one was no different. Matt has sworn off women and his heart is still broken. His love left him and he feels like nothing will be able to replace her and what she meant to him. But there's this pesky redhead that won't just seem to leave him alone. I enjoyed seeing Matt open up his heart again to love and everything that it could bring him. I read the book in a few hours because it was that good. I would recommend this one for any time of the year!
