About the Author

Ellen Murray Chamberlain has dedicated her life to storytelling, children's reading programs, and children's literature. Now retired, she spent her professional years as a public school librarian, a storyteller on public TV in Michigan, a children's literature professor in South Carolina, and University of South Carolina Beaufort Campus Library Director. She was always on the lookout for interesting read-aloud stories to share with children, especially action stories appealing to young boys as well as girls. That's how A Zillion Eggs for Easter, her first story for publication, came about.

Margaret Murray Wolf is a retired artist in northern Michigan. She is known for her Lake Michigan and other landscapes drawn from the local area. Her work has been featured in art galleries in the Traverse City, Petoskey and Harbor Springs communities.
