About the Author

Catherine Lynn grew up in a small steel mill town in Northwest Indiana near Lake Michigan's Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore playground. Tapping into her childhood memories of visits to Lake Michigan and family vacations in the Land of 1,000 Lakes in Minnesota inspired her debut children's book; Ace Loves His Lake: a Dragonfly Tale. Catherine currently resides with her husband of 37 years in the state of Florida. Now a young Grammy of three toddler grandsons, her inspirations to write comes from watching them explore and learn from their outdoor adventure whether kayaking, fishing, hiking, or biking.
