For millennia, the evil Kroledutz have fed on the essence of humans and clashed in secret with the Adima, the light weavers of the universe. Now, with the balance of power shifting toward darkness, time is running out. Guided by a timeless Native American spirit, four teenagers from a small New Mexico town discover they have one month to awaken their inner power and save the world. Rory, Tima, Billy, and James must solve four ancient challenges by the next full moon to awaken a mystical portal and become Adima. If they fail, the last threads of light will dissolve, and the universe will be lost forever. Can they put aside their fears and discover their true natures before it's too late? This light vs. dark adventure will speak to young adults and adults alike. Four teens (& their parents) deal with real life struggles on top of trying to become who they are meant to be- Adima, the light weavers. Saving the world as we know it while figuring out what your spirit animal is can get you into some sticky situations! Many thought provoking conversations and situations accompany this saga. A quote that really showcases the ageless wisdom of this debut novel is “If you close yourself off you will still feel the pain of death. However, the more distance you put between yourself and others, the less you will experience their celebration of life. You have to take the joy with the pain.” - Heyatoma Layered with young adult sassiness and adult conflicts wrapped in a timeless story. A realistic setting that pulls your imagination in so that YOU are sitting in the kiva and YOU are riding the luminous webs of light along side the Adima! This debut author is just getting started. I cannot wait to see what's next for the these light weavers and their families!
