This book recalls a largely vanished America. In large part an America that had pretty well vanished at the time these events occurred. It is a true record of times and places now gone.

While these stories, both tragic and comic, are true, some of the names have been changed.

There are still some innocents out there.

About the Author

James Van Trump is a retired DuPont Research Fellow with experience ranging from fruit tramp and cowboy to ivory tower scientist. He and his wife Betty have raised two children, traveled a good chunk of the world and also built or renovated some 23 dwellings in their spare time.
He feels life should be lived to the hilt.
