About the Author

Quincey L. Daniels earned Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Physical Education, a Master's in Education, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.); and earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Quincey provides cultural competency training to schools, municipalities, and advocacy organizations.

Annie Allen-Wyman earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and taught every K-12 grade before teaching at a college. She is the author of several children's books and sells new and used books at The Rosy Orb Bookstore. Her current research project is the history of general education courses. She also works as a program coordinator for foreign high school student exchanges. Both authors are working as adjuncts in higher education.

They continue inspire students to be determined and curious, and to advocate for greater adjunct equity.
