About the Author

Maurizio Bertollo is Rector’s delegate for international affairs and Associate Professor of Motor Behavior at the University G. d’Annunzio of Chieti and Pescara, Italy. He is Vice-President of the European Federation of Sport Psychology and has been consultant for some Italian Sport Federations and some National Olympic Committees.

Edson Filho is currently a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters in the field of Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology, and has worked as a consultant for college and amateur athletes.

Peter C. Terry is Dean of the Graduate Research School and Professor of Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He is past-President of the Asian-South Pacific Association of Sport Psychology and a veteran of nine Olympic Games as an applied sport psychologist.
