Advances in Chemistry Research. Volume 82
This volume contains eight chapters that detail advances in chemistry research. Chapter One provides an overview of published work on the electrothermal molecular absorption determination of halogens. Chapter Two focuses particularly on the microstructure characteristics of concrete containing recycled concrete aggregates (RCA). Chapter Three explores the interference of directed communications, bond components, and donor-acceptor complexes. Chapter Four highlights the recent advancements on beetroots with respect to several aspects such as its nutritional wholesomeness, commercial cultivation, chemical constituents, pharmacological activities, extraction process and an analysis of its pigments. Chapter Five introduces the study of the adsorption of DNA molecules on mixed phase-separated monolayers composed of a hydrocarbon-containing comb copolymer with an s-triazine ring and a fluorinated s-triazine derivative. Chapter Six discusses tocopherols, important isocomponents naturally found in many vegetable oils. Chapter Seven describes the structure, reactivity, and synthesis of different types of diaryliodonium salts. Lastly, Chapter Eight discusses the atomic absorption analysis method.
