About the Author

I have written 30 guidebooks for Lonely Planet and, more recently, wrote the 'Travel Pack: Bali & Lombok' guidebook and the 'Journey Through Bali & Lombok' photobook for Tuttle/Periplus.

My love of Bali continues with my first novel, 'Bali & Oates' (JoJo Publishing), and the self-published 'Bali Billy', an hilarious tale of a middle-aged couple who escape their adult children still living with them by running away from home to set up a guesthouse in Bali. 'Bali & Oates' is the first in a trilogy, and is followed by the self-published sequels 'Vietnamnesia' and 'Afghans & Malaise'.

In addition, I have written two novellas: 'Heaven Nor Hell' (a comedy-drama about the Vatican and The Eternal Drug); and 'Cinnamon Sweat' (a quirky comedy about an '70s rock band stuck in the outback). I also wrote a short film, 'Class Act', and was shortlisted for an award for my one-act drama, 'A Halt in Play'.

I now enjoy making film clips, posting over 1000 on YouTube through a series of channels called '... in a Minute' about Bali, Malaysia and South Australia.

I am based in Mannum, South Australia, and available through www.paulgreenway.net
