AIR21 Delta's Debacle Legal Lessons Learned and Shared to Save Your Career and Improve Safety

The AIR21 Statute is a unique Whistleblower Law, enacted specifically for airline and manufacturing employees, and their suppliers. AIR21 Delta's Debacle is a legal "how to" book, with lessons learned in Petitt vs. Delta, and the reason why Petitt prevailed in her AIR21 case against the most power airline in the world. This book explains the AIR21 statute, and how it can be used to protect your career.

The text explains what employees can do to protect themselves prior reporting safety concerns, with examples of emails that will create protected activity, how to navigate the law, and how to emotionally survive a corporate attack. AIR21 must meet the standards of protected activity, communicated to management in good faith, prior to the adverse action, the shift in the burden of proof, the causal link, and the statute of limitations. This guide will explain what these legal terms mean, and how to navigate your legal survival.

This book is a guide for the Pro Se litigant, those with an attorney, and attorneys alike. It also explains how to select an attorney. There are suggestions for EEOC reporting, warnings of your union protections and how they may hinder more than help, and references to help with HIMS, the alcohol pilot program, but more so what every employee should do before they ever meet with management or HR for anything.

This book could save your career, and in the process make the skies safer. If you're not in the aviation industry, that doesn't matter. Every passenger who expects a safe flight should read this book, as there is content for much needed reform. A fascinating read for everyone. This book will save you thousands of dollars in legal fees in knowing if you have case, how to prepare while keeping your attorney fees low, and what you must do to stay involved. It will also, help you to move on with your life after you are thrashed through demands of litigation and spit out on the other end.
