Overview

Recorded at Rah Way State Prison in the '70s, this is the Escorts' weakest recording. Features an overblown rendition of the Miracles' "Ooh, Baby Baby" that's two minutes too long, and interviewing bites with their producer George Kerr interspersed before various cuts. Kerr redoes three songs with the Escorts that he previously did with the O'Jays, but weak versions of "I'll Be Sweeter Tomorrow," "Look Over Your Shoulder," and "I'm So Glad I Found You" are no matches for the Eddie Levert-led originals. The best track, "All We Need Is Another Chance," finds them repenting for their wrongs and pleading for a second chance. ~ Andrew Hamilton
