American Heroes The Revolutionary War in Art
There are no greater heroes than the Founding Fathers. But before the signing of the Constitution, a lot of things happened. Continental Army fought against the British a lot of times. Some times they lost and some times they won, but in the end the Continental Army was victorious.
This a history project. The inspiration comes from the painting Washington Crossing the Delaware. Which happened on the 25. december 1776. The first painting below.
Art is such a great way to study history. My history project is about the Revolutionary War in art. Art can be paintings and the paintings show you what happened. They express feelings about the battles, the bravery and the determination which led to the victory in the end.
The paintings help you remember how the Republic was founded and what it took to do so. I hope you will enjoy the selections of paintings and celebrate 4th of July with me through them.
