A selection of material from the US Army Military History Institute at Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The archive contains some 7,000 returned questionnaires that were sent out in the 1970s and 1980s, along with other material such as photographs, diaries, and letters sent by descendants. After a chronology of the war, the arrangement is by topic, such as going over there, holding the line, Siberia and North Russia, and colored troops.
