About the Author

Dieter Euler kept a diary throughout his mother's journey with Alzheimer's, writing down everything he noticed and experienced as he stood by his father, who was the primary caregiver. Dieter's background as a teacher helped him to understand, to analyze and to support the various emotional difficulties his father faced, and now he wants to impart what he has learned with others in similar circumstances.

Dieter was also a co-author of two high school French programs. He lives in Ontario, Canada, with his wife, Heather, who was also a high school teacher (Business Ed.) and helped edit this book.
