I became interested in writing in my mid-twenties. I began writing poetry at first, showing them to family and friends. Later, I became interested in writing screenplays. I went online and read multiple screenplays. The ones I vividly remember were by Quentin Tarantino. “Pulp Fiction” and “Jackie Brown”. I later read “The Godfather” script, Christopher Nolan's “Memento,” and Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing”. I never took a class for writing. I looked at the scripts and analyzed and studied the three-act structure. I study TV and Film, paying attention to the dialogue, the directing, the continuity, and the cinematography. After reading those scripts, they inspired me to write my own. I’ve written two full-length screenplays and one short, all comedies. This is my first book. I had this story in mind for an original screenplay. But I never could get a literary agency to look at my first couple of scripts. They wanted to know who I knew in the business, and I said no one. But I didn’t get discouraged because I continued to create stories. So, instead of writing this story as a screenplay. I decided to write it as a Novella.
