I have been a fan of the Range series by Andrew Grey from the very start. I just love Kota, Wally, Haven, Phillip, Mario, and David. I was pleased to see the continuation and endurance of love and dedications.
From the very beginning I felt for both Liam and Troy. Troy may have messed up his marriage with lies, but in a society like ours, his ‘crime’ was not only not uncommon, but often expected. Even with a gay brother, Troy hid – even from himself – who and what he was.
Liam was simply the victim of a hateful monster that pretended to be a father. Even with how beat down and nearly dead he was when found, Liam had the heart to not only recover but to help heal Troy.
I also loved how in social reality Liam was the softer one, yet in bed he’s the boy giving the orders. This story’s sex scenes were more sweet than HOT, but it fit so perfectly that I love Andrew all the more for writing it that way.
Also, the inclusion of resolutions for both guys is just perfect! (And thank you Andrew for giving Dakota is MD!). Andrew Grey, as always, leaves you loving the characters and with the knowledge that gay people are loving, family oriented, just as often as their het friends and families are.
Beautifully written. Powerfully delivered. A true delight for any M/M lovers (both readers and partners). Andrew Grey reminds us, again, that love is love, period.
