About the Author

Ya Ling Lee has a PhD in mathematics education from New Zealand and previously worked as a teacher and lecturer in Malaysia. She grew up in a Chinese family and has been exposed to different cultures through her studies, works and traveling. She is inspired by her daughter, Emma and has devoted her time and talents to writing and painting for children. Ya Ling lives with her husband and daughter in Malaysia.

Claudine Curran has had a varied career in structural geology and geophysics, marketing, graphic design and language teaching around the globe. She has a passion for languages, books, art & design, traveling and cultural exploration.
