About the Author

David Maxwell has taught AP Biology at The Pingry School, an independent college preparatory school in New Jersey, for 16 years, and he has served as the Science Department Chair for four years. He has helped grade the AP Biology exam every year since 2004. David holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin (M.S. in Plant Pathology) and Juniata College (B.S. in Ecology). He lives with his family in a small town in rural New Jersey.
