About the Author

Author of Very Simple Arabic, Very Simple Arabic Script, Very Simple Arabia and The Arab World Handbook. An experienced Arabist, he studied Arabic at Durham University and the British Foreign Office Middle East Centre for Arab Studies in Lebanon.
