About the Author

Books have been a part of Jansina's life for as long as she can remember. She was the kind of kid who pulled out grammar books in the summer and wrote research pa-pers "for fun." (No joke.)

In the fall of 2011, she finished and pub-lished her first novel, Forgotten Memories. The summer of 2012 brought the next, Shrouded Jewels. Davey and Mical can be found in both.

Also in 2012, Jansina began an editing and publishing business, Rivershore Books (www.rivershorebooks.com). There are now three secondary proofreaders and an illustrator working with her, and the business continues to grow.

Jansina's next project, Tomatoes Don't Judge, is a story of friendship and focuses on Davey's younger brother, Robbie.

So many steps led to where she is now, and she truly feels it's what Papa (her affectionate name for God) wants her to be doing. Her goal is to honor Him in her writing and encourage other authors to do the same with their own.
