About the Author

Karl Beckstrand lives to share ideas; "My stories are born in real-life irony—so there's usually a surprise by the end." Raised in San Jose, California, USA, he has lived abroad and been a Spanish/English interpreter. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Brigham Young University and has worked in high-tech, marketing, non-profit and public policy. An engaging public speaker, he has experience in TV, radio, studio and film—but is happiest singing as a rock front man. (Search: "Karl Beckstrand - Author" on FB)
