I loved reading this book. Carol is an incomplete paraplegic. Nick works at Bad Boys for Hire and is contracted to work as a Santa Claus for an event that Carol is putting on. Upon him walking into the bar that is the venue, they are attracted to each other. However, Carol protests his cocky, arrogant, self-assured attitude and wants to fire him. With not enough time for hiring a new Santa, they have to stick with him, much to her dismay. Nick takes it upon himself to find out what Carol’s wish is during the event and she wants him to follow someone around all day so that he can learn what it’s like for someone in a wheelchair. They don’t need the pity and all the help that a lot of people offer or force upon them. They are just like normal people only they have to have a different way of doing normal things and may take longer. Honestly, I did NOT like Nick at the beginning of the book. He was my least favorite character at the beginning and I just wanted to reach through the computer screen I was reading on and deck him. Since that wasn’t possible, I settled for strangling him in my imagination. LOL. Carol had her ups and downs on me liking her through the book. She was a strong character in most parts but had spots where I didn’t think her attitude fit her character but I understand why those spots were necessary. Overall, I would give this book 4.5/5 stars. It is definitely one of the better books I’ve read this year. I love that the author went with a female lead that wasn’t a model/damsel-in-distress and that she had a disability. I really like that the author focused on some spots on different things that could help those that are in wheelchairs and some of them actually made sense. While this is book three in the Bad Boys for Hire series, you do not need to read the books in order. ***I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.***

This book is the perfect romantic read for the holidays, especially if you're into bad boys! Nick is an escort who takes the jobs he's assigned, including playing Santa for a toy drive. Carol is a wheelchair-bound former mountain climber who is trying to live her life and provide a better life for children in her situation. When the two collide at the toy drive Carol finds Nick as sleazy, self absorbed and altogether irritating. But he makes her feel in a way that she hasn't since before her accident. Can the two make it work? Or will Carol stick with the safe option? This is the first of the Bad Boys for Hire series that I've read, and I definitely want to go back and read the rest! There are glimpses of the previous characters' lives in this book, and I love following through on people's stories to see how their lives turned out. I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Carol has such pain and sadness in her new life. She can only look back on her old life before she was hurt. Now she puts on a "happy" mask and helps with the annual Christmas party and she also works on collecting toys for children. Nick is chosen to be the Big Elf, Santa. They click even tho Carol tries her best to push him away. She even tries to date another disabled man. The sparks are there but seems with Nick has a few secrets that appear. It seems useless, because Nick and Carol are drawn to each other and it may just be possible to get Carols heart beating again for a hopeful future. I love these characters. Rachelle brings them to life with nice twists and sparks.

I can honestly say that from the very first book I read by Rachel Ayala, Broken Build (a techno-thriller), back in 2013 I was hooked on this author. No matter what genre she is writing I know it is going to be excellent! Bad Boys for Hire: Nick is a Christmas romance--only you will not be quite sure if all will end well. Both Carol and Nick have deep insecurities which have to be overcome. It doesn't help that Nick's very recent past is haunting both him and Carol! There is an epitaph at the very end which will explain a lot and will also bring a tear or two to your eyes. It did mine. All I can say is Rachel Ayala has done it again. She has brought the feelings and lives of paraplegics in a gentle and uplifting way so that others will be able to understand and not shun them--but know that they can be much more and do much more then most of us give them credit for.

Nick has a reputation for being a bad boy. He is a male escort / personal trainer and has done his share of things he’s not proud of ,but he is trying to turn that around and prove he is really a great guy, deep down. Carol was an active climber until she suffered a serious accident that put her in a wheel chair. She is tough and tries to look like she is handling things well, but deep down, she’s tired of everyone treating her differently and she is always crusading for those with disabilities and doesn‘t trust that a “hot“ guy like Nick could possibly fall for her. The story deals with some of the obstacles a disabled person deals with on a daily basis and the struggles they face learning to cope with them and adjust to a new way of living. There were times when I wanted to “shake” both of these characters and tell them to wake up and talk to each other and be honest. Then there is the shopping trip they took (no spoilers here) that had me laughing and crying all at the same time. To me, this is a sign of good writing and character development that brought the story to life. We also get to visit with a few of the other characters from the Bad Boys Series. Each book just gets better and better in this's addicting.

I received a copy of this book but was not required to review it. I haven’t read any of the Bad Boys for Hire series before so this was my first. I love a good, steamy romance and this was definitely a great read. This story had a unique spin to it that I haven’t seen addressed in other romance novels which made it all the more special. If you’re looking for a steamy romance that’s a little bit different, I think you’ll enjoy this one. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.

A enjoyable read just in time for the holiday season. A well written story with great characters. I could feel the emotions while reading. The plot was well written as well. Satisfied for me. Just enough romance for a great holiday read. Recommend for romance readers. You won’t be disappointed. I voluntarily received this book to give an honest review.

This book is one you want to read. It is unique and not like another book I have read. It takes on the main character being in a wheelchair after an accident and a good looking guy. The girl has to resolve her feelings and come to terms with what happened to her while realizing that a good looking guy can fall in love with her. Carol learns that she has more passion and “feeling” than what she thought she did. I loved seeing the real life emotions and events in this book. I didn’t feel that I was reading another book, same story line, but different character’s names. This book was actually different. I thought the story was well put together. It grabbed your attention from the beginning. Once you start reading it is definitely hard to put down. You want to know what happens and will the girl finally get her dream man. I enjoyed seeing all the conflict and that it wasn’t an easy boy meets girl and they get together. It kept you on your toes waiting for the outcome. This is the first book I have read by this author and will not be my last. I am definitely going to go back and read the first two books in the series. Great job R. Ayala!

I loved Bad Boys for Hire: Nick. I am not sure I have read any of Rachelle Ayala's other Bad Boys books so this is definitely able to be read as a standalone. Nick is a very believable character. I understand his still living with relatives, even though he has a degree. He has an epiphany without seeing the three ghosts so common in stories set during Christmas time. I am still not quite sure what triggers is epiphany but he does have one. At his worst, he is basically selling himself. He is a personal trainer who charges more than average and then has clients sign agreements that sex is not part of the payment. Yet, sex is happening. Carol is in a wheelchair. Ayala does a great job making her have just enough of a chip on her shoulder about her accident to make her truly believable. She is snarky and smart. Nick is enthralled by the fact she is in a wheelchair yet turns him down. She is annoyed he hits on her, believing it is solely because she is an easy mark. This book is great to add to my read each year at Christmas time. I suggest you do the same. I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Before reading Carol and Nick's story I was a fan, now I have become an addict. Rachelle Ayala is one addiction I'll gladly own. What began as a sexy read emerged as an expedition of hope. Nick knows how to have a good time. His wicked charm and bad boy looks have landed him in some awkward situations but he's always emerged unscathed. Until he meets the one woman that changes everything. Carol is unlike any woman. Immune to his charm and with more strength than even she realizes. In one moment her world changed and left her broken, bitter and bruised. Uncertainty, anger and fear are proving an overpowering combination for the once fearless adventurer, until she finds courage from the most unlikely of sources. Nick had depths that were hidden well. He was more than the party boy with sex appeal. A fighter recognizes that same trait in others and his heart heard the cry of someone in pain and answered the call. Ms. Ayala managed to accomplish the one thing I did not expect. She delivered a story that brought on the waterworks.

Nick Wolff is a Bad Boy for Hire employee and entertainer who is put on Santa Claus duty by his boss. He met Carol, a mountain climber who recently had a traumatic accident and is paraplegic. Nick and Carol had an explosive first meeting and their journey is difficult and endearing. Nick has to overcome his womanizer ways and reflects on what he wants for the rest of his life. Carol has come to terms to her disability and in all this turmoil find love with Nick the last person she ever thought she would turn out. This book is lovely, entertaining and a beautiful lesson of overcoming the difficulties that life bring us. Carol is an example to be followed!

When a book starts off with “How many imes have I told you not to have sex?” it’s bound to be a steamy book. Or, that’s what I thought. While the book has some intense sex scenes in it, it’s not all about sex. The book was a good book, but the people, to me, seemed just a little fake. BUT again, that is just me. I overlooked that part and continued on with the book, not to be disappointed. Carol’s step sister Marisa annoyed me a little bit. I felt that Marisa felt that just because Carol was paralized from the waist down she didn’t deserve a man that had all function in his body, who could walk, so she tried to push Jason and Carol together. Nick changed his entire being to be the man that Carol wanted and deserved. Before meeting Carol, Nick was a bad boy, who knew what he wanted, who knows how to have a good time and this has landed him in some sticky situations. Then he meets Carol and after she tells him something while sitting in Santa’s lap, he realizes he wants to change, and change for the better he does. There is some heartache in the book, there’s love, there’s sex, there’s laughter and much more. I enjoyed reading this book

Love is unconditional. It happens when you less expected. This is my new favorite story among Ms. Rachelle Ayala's book next to Hidden Under Her Heart. This story is so unique. It is very emotional. Above all it is very sweet and delightful to read that will melt your heart like a marshmallow. As always, Ms. Rachelle's characters is very extra ordinary. She knows how to pull out your head with some twist but in the end, you have no choice but adore and love the characters. Bad boy Nick not only will drives you crazy with that looks and body but he will quench your heart with his amazing way despite his past. He is my hero in this story. He is vulnerable to show his heart for a woman who really he adores and love but gave him doubts. It is like a bow that hit you right into your heart. Love is unconditional and happens when you less expected. If you love reading Christmas story, this book is even more than Christmas that will give you more meaning into the holiday. Life is too short that when accidents happen. You lose everything and life will turn upside down. This story is not only heart-warming but for me the hottest book I ever read from the author.
