About the Author

Desiree is a self-taught baker and cake decorator, who discovered this passion through her granddaughter. Desiree was born in New York City with a family strongly rooted in North Carolina. She likes to think of herself as a city girl with strong southern morals. Growing up, she was raised between the two and believes she got the best of both worlds. A mother of four children and a nurse by profession, Desiree currently resides in Connecticut.
