Emma Jenkins is a walking ray of sunshine whose light radiates the love of Jesus everywhere she goes. It doesn't matter if Emma is speaking in front of thousands of people, posting on social media, or with you one on one, her joy and genuine, positive spirit remain the same. She is no different than any other ordinary young adult, except she has decided to find herself fully in Christ alone, and that is what makes her the extraordinary young woman that she is.

One of my favorite things about Emma is her love for the Word of God. On my very first Live Original tour, Emma taught me the armor of God. She walked me through it, acting it out as she put on each piece of armor.

Many people want to know Scripture and be able to recite it so effortlessly, as Emma does, and as her friend, I can tell you the reason she is able to do that is because she has truly immersed herself in the Word; even her bedroom is covered in Scripture. By reading this book, your desire to learn Scripture will deepen, and you will fall in love with the Word of God.

Emma shares powerful verses that speak truth over some of our most commonly believed lies. The illustrations in the book and her sweet spirit make it a fun read, but it's so much more than just a fun read. Emma addresses, head-on, some of the toughest and most relatable challenges teenagers face on a daily basis. She invites you in with her transparency and vulnerability as she shares her own stories and leads you to discover your own truth and identity in Jesus. Like Emma, I am passionate about young people becoming confident in their own original identity for which God has created for them. It's so easy for us to go through identity crises during our middle school, high school, and college years. It's especially an issue now with social media, bullying, and the world telling you that you should be everything opposite of who God created you to be. As hard as it can be, I hope by picking up this book, you already know you are not alone. You have two sisters in Emma and me, walking right there with you.

I believe if you take hold of the advice Emma gives in this book, let the Scriptures she provides take root in your heart, and pray alongside her the prayers she walks you through, you will be led straight to finding your identity in Christ.

You will become confident in the person you were created to be, because you will have fallen in love with the creator himself.

I truly believe role models can be younger than you, and I am proud to say Emma is one of my role models. She has inspired my love for God's Word and prayer, which are two of the most powerful things you can have in life. I know Emma's heart would be to sit down with every single one of you and have a cup of tea. Since she may not be able to do that, I know she has put every ounce of truth and wisdom into a book that is wrapped in love and filled with joy, just for you!
