About the Author

W. Trent Foley is Professor of Religion at Davidson College. He is the author of Images of Sanctity in Eddius Stephanus' "Life of Bishop Wilfrid." Arthur G. Holder is Professor of Christian Spirituality and Dean of Academic Affairs at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, part of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. His translation of Bede's commentary On the Tabernacle is also available from the University of Pennsylvania Press in the Translated Texts for Historians series.
