Better Get to Livin'
From USA Today bestselling author Sally Kilpatrick comes a touching laugh-out-loud story of ghosts of the past and hope for the future . . .

Presley Cline turns heads and stops clocks. The prettiest girl in town, she ran off to Hollywood only to find Tinsel Town is full of the prettiest girls from hundreds of small towns—and their ghosts. Since Presley can commune with the dead, she would know. Not that she can tell anyone.

Declan Anderson is dead tired of the funeral business. He has other dreams, modest they may be, but he's never been able to leave town like Presley did. He's burned out and stuck in a rut. Then Presley shows up with her cosmetology case.

A few folks in the funeral home—one living, many dead—now know Presley's secret. Will the meddling of the dearly departed help both her and Dec to follow their own dreams? Or will long lost secrets and a slew of unmet dying wishes keep them from truly living?

About the Author

Sally Kilpatrick is a USA Today bestselling and award-winning author. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, she married a Georgia boy and now lives with him and her two children in Marietta, Georgia. Her books often reflect the small-town shenanigans and memorable characters she grew up around. Better Get to Livin' has been described as "delightfully offbeat," and she's hoping that describes her, too. A few of the awards Sally has won include the 2018 and 2019 Georgia Author of the Year, the Maggie Award of Excellence, the Booksellers' Best, and the 2016 Nancy Knight Award for Mentorship.

Twenty-plus years of experience acting on stage and screen has given Daniel Thomas May a keen ear for all the ticklish details of storytelling and distinctive characterizations. With more than 100 highly rated titles on Audible, Daniel's "energetic," "confident," "deft," "commanding" narration makes him particularly adept in portraying adventurers of all sorts, whether in fantasy (Elidor Trilogy), sci-fi (nineteen-part Foreigner series, Audie Award Finalist), horror (Alaskan Undead Apocalypse series), romance (True Heroes series), or nonfiction dramatizations (Hatching Twitter, Run!).

Amanda Ronconi is an actress and narrator who divides her time between New York City and upstate New York. She holds a BFA from New York University, where she studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory. Amanda has performed in theaters around New York City and regionally, as well as on film and television.
