How do you fight the thing monsters are afraid of?

After Deputy Debbie did her tour in the Army as an MP, she returned to her home town, marched into the sheriff's office and demanded a job. Her daddy is the sheriff. Now, you can call her Deputy Debbie -- or if you're really brave, Dinkie.

Her hometown of Prattville isn't like other towns. It's where the monsters go when they retire. The sheriff's job is to keep the peace between the human folk and the vampires, goblins, werewolves and such that call the town home.

It's a good place, and with a slightly alien past, it's a place Debbie can call home.

But when a tragic past re-emerges, and Debbie's bestie disappears--again--in the midst of a spate of attacks on monsters, Debbie fears the worst.

What's killing monsters? Where is it hiding Debbie's friend? And how is one little, human woman supposed to fight something that can shred a goblin, decimate a vampire and put two large trolls in the hospital?

All she knows is that she's got to try. Her friend's life depends on it.

Beware the Boogerman is a horror story for those who have outgrown the Goosebumps series.

About the Author

I am an artist and author and I always feel like I have a story to tell. Whether it be with a brush or pencil in my hands or with a computer in front of me, there is a story to tell.

I remember reading The Lord Of The Rings when I was about 14-years-old and around the same time I read about Brooks' world of Shannara and McCaffrey's dragons. And who could forget Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series?

Once I got my first job at sixteen, I was buying all kinds of books about stories of fantasy and adventure. If Kindle had been around back then I'm sure I would have filled the memory up in no time. One of my favorite haunts back in the day was the many dusty, musty used bookstores in my hometown, looking for that next treasure that would take me away.

I like the process of building worlds and creating characters. At this moment, I am building the world of Garlan of Whitestone Castle. I am keenly interested in seeing what kind of adventures Garlan has over time and hope there is an impatient horde of rabid readers who want to take the journey with me.
