About the Author

Dan was born in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating from high school, he went directly into the Navy. Most of his service time in the Navy was in Washington D.C. as a Navy Photographer. Upon leaving the Navy, he became a Professional Industrial Photographer for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, N.Y. Then, he put everything in his car and drove to Hollywood, CA.

Among other jobs, he worked on the Voyager mission during the Jupiter flyby, for the Jet Propulsion Lab. Then, Lockheed Martin Aerospace hired Dan to set up a photographic color lab and to supervise it as well as the photographers. He also supervised other operations for Lockheed in Georgia.

Dan became a Christian at the age of 27 and eventually found Grace Community Church, pastored by John MacArthur. After getting married, Dan became a leader in the Evangelism ministry at Grace Community Church. He led the evangelism ministry in Glendale, Pasadena, Montrose, Burbank, and LaCrescenta, California.

Upon being transferred to Georgia, he and his wife continued the evangelism training ministry for several churches in the area. He and Nancy, trained lay people as well as some pastors and missionaries how to share their faith in evangelistic outreach ministry for 33 years.

Dan, Nancy, their daughter Amy, and son-in-law Wesley reside in Georgia at the current time.
