About the Author

About The Author

Julie Edwards Jones is a retired business executive who overcame a remarkably challenging childhood to become an accomplished leader in guiding corporations through periods of growth and transformation.

Her personal journey is a testament to the strength of her character. Raised in the face of adversity, one of the most significant challenges she overcame was a childhood accident that resulted in a partial amputation of her left arm after nearly a year of hospitalization. Rather than allow this to define her, Julie went on to achieve tremendous success in both her professional life and through her extensive volunteer work in various communities.

These early struggles instilled in Julie a passion for supporting families affected by mental illness and addiction. Her experiences have shaped her dedication to breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health and advocating for the care and well-being of those in need.

Having lived and worked in various locations across the United States, worked on multiple continents, and traveled to more than forty countries, Julie now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, are with her husband, near their large extended family across the southeastern U.S.
