About the Author

Born in Canada, Shukavak N. Dasa found an early interest in India and Hindu philosophy that led to a degree in Sanskrit literature, a Master's degree in Sanskrit grammar, and a Ph.D. in South Asian Studies from the University of Toronto. Shukavak regularly lectures on Hinduism and has been instrumental in developing Hindu Temples in the United States and Canada. Shukavak has performed thousands of Hindu weddings and other Hindu rituals in North America, Europe, and India.
