About the Author

Karteek Manchala is an engineer by profession and a storyteller at heart. Deeply inspired by the global Save Soil movement, he set out to create his first book—Bhoomi Tantra: The Ways of Soil. Through these stories, Karteek hopes to inspire young readers to see soil not just as the dirt beneath their feet, but as a source of life making material.

His day begins with yoga and meditation. When he's not working or writing, Karteek enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and volunteering.
