About the Author

Michael Hawkins is a third generation native Arizonan, graduate of Arizona State University and its law school, served to Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps (1970-73), was appointed by President Carter as U.S. Attorney for Arizona (1977-80) and by President Clinton as a U.S. Circuit Judge (9th Cir.) (1994-present).
