About the Author

Rick and Karen Longabaugh started The Berry Basket and Great American Scrollsaw Patterns—their family-owned online and mail order company, specializing in unique and useful scroll saw patterns and accessories—in the fall of 1990. What began as one set of collapsible basket patterns became a complete line of fullsize woodworking patterns and hard-to-find accessories. Rick has been featured on the popular PBS show The American Woodshop with Scott Phillips and also on the cover of Popular Woodworking magazine. Many of their unique projects have been published in a number of woodworking publications, including Wood magazine, Creative Woodworks & Crafts, Popular Woodworking, The Art of the Scroll Saw, Scroll Saw Workshop, and Patrick Spielman’s Home Workshop News.
