About the Author

Marquita Goodluck, a mother and breast cancer survivor, turned to children's book writing as a way to comfort her family during challenging times. Inspired by her own experiences, she created "I'll be there every day, but in a different kind of way!" to help her children understand and cope with the potential loss of a loved one, particularly as her grandmother-in-law entered a nursing home.
