About the Author

Beverly C. Gray is the youngest child of a career U.S. Army officer and his wife. She was born in Paris, France while her father was stationed at SHAPE. She grew up in Hawaii and earned her B.A. and M.A. in History at Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA. The focus of those degrees was U.S., British, and Roman History with an emphasis in military history, cultural history, and the history of technology. Although she has been a technical writer/editor for an Engineering firm for almost thirty years, she has never outgrown her passion for history and historical research. Writing Historical Fiction satisfies her yen to learn more about the past and enables her to live in different eras via her characters.
