This book holds two longer short stories: In the first, our Ginger Nuts family make a new friend, a bunny rabbit so conceited he treats himself as a hare. Bobby should be confined to his Old Mistress' apartment, like a flat cat, but has created escape routines. His lack of experience of the big raw city world, or at least the student infested wilds of Fallowfield, Manchester, make him a prime target for the more predatory type of wild life, until his new pussy cat friends spring to the rescue. The second story describes more rodent problems and how the now grown up rescue kittens are encouraged by their mentor, the Bullpuss to make a journey as envoys, to mediate a proposed solution with the head of the local rat chapter.
